Born and raised in the Vail Valley, I wanted to be a farmer cowgirl for as long as I can remember. Pursuing my dreams of building not only a career but a lifestyle on my Dad's ranch has quickly become one of the more rewarding experiences. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Sustainable Food Systems. Working towards starting a local food movement is the best way I feel I can give back to my community while working to help our Mother Earth.  "Be the change you wish to see in the world".

I was born in Maine, raised in Nebraska, and have lived in the Vail Valley since 2004. As a child I spent a lot of time in the garden, sowing, growing, and harvesting. In 2010 I graduated with my BA in sustainability studies at Colorado Mountain College with a focus on sustainable food systems. For me, starting a sustainable business is my way to give back to the world and brings my life full circle. I couldn’t be more excited to begin this new chapter in my life.
